• Joseph Smith received revelation (D&C 27) unexpectedly, “on the move,” reminding us God often speaks when we actively move forward.

• Revelation came in parts, teaching Joseph—and us—that answers often come “line upon line.”

• D&C 28 clarified who receives revelation for the Church, establishing order and peace.

💡 Teaching Tip: Share personal stories of unexpected or gradual revelation. Encourage family members to seek answers actively this week!

Remember these wise words from President Boyd K. Packer: “As an Apostle I listen now to the same inspiration, coming from the same source, in the same way, that I listened to as a boy. The signal is much clearer now.” (October 1979 General Conference)
