General Conference Doodle Flip Book
Here is another Flip Book with some fun ways to take notes during General Conference.
(Note: we have noticed since that picture was taken that the “i” was left out of “Quentin” – that has been fixed. ) 🙂
If you are like me, I like to keep my hands busy while I am listening to a speaker – I have always learned better that way. And I also really believe in writing down as you learn – so we combined the two principles and came up with this:
There are pages for every Apostle – and every page has a different doodle or picture.
There are also pages that say “speaker” for those in the Seventy, auxiliary presidencies, and the General Women’s Meeting.
There are also pages where you can record special thoughts you had during conference, goals you have, etc.
And at the beginning of the booklet there is a page where you can quietly sit for a moment and ponder the things that you might like specific inspiration on.
Just print these onto card stock – the whole booklet prints onto 9 pages that you just cut up into 32 total pages, and then attach with a book ring.
Since these are all in black and white these would be easy on your printer to print multiple booklets. I think it would be really fun to see how each book looks and is colored by the end of Conference.
These could also be a great after conference activity. Have everyone search through the Ensign or Conference Report and write their favorite quotes from each speaker.
You can find these Flip Books HERE. There are also more pictures of the book as well as a picture of how to put it together.
Also be sure to check out our NOTES BY TOPIC book HERE.
This book is also available in our combo package with 5 of our most popular General Conference items HERE.
You’re awesome! Thanks so much.
Fun idea! Will this be updated in the future as people change?
Going to visit the Grandkids over Conference. I’m making one for all of us! Thanks!
Very cute! Thinking about this for our YW
These will be wonderful to jot down thoughts and impressions!! Quick question – what kind of markers are those 🙂 Thanks for all the amazing ideas!
I love these for Sr Primary, my teens, and for the sisters I visiting teach. Wonderful!
I would also like to know what kind of markers those are? Thanks!
Those are Prisma Color markers. I LOVE them. They aren’t cheap but they are totally worth it. 🙂
How did you punch the holes? Did you use a single hole punch, 3 ring punch? I have a single hole punch and can’t seem to punch them in the same place because I can only do 5 pages at a time.
Hi Julie!
I just use a single hole punch but I will use one that I have already punched as a “guide”. So I will put a page that already has a hole in it on top of the ones that I am going to punch and then place the hole punch over the hole on the already punched page.
Does that make sense? 🙂
Shannon
Yes!! That makes sense. Thank you!!
