The youth theme for 2019 is “If Ye Love Me, Keep My Commandments” (John 14:15).  This printable kit is full of items and ideas to help teach the theme to the youth.  This kit especially focuses on the importance of really knowing the the standards in For the Strength of Youth.  And not just knowing the topics, but knowing what the guidelines are so they can be called upon during difficult times.
The youth will love the Moses analogy of how he climbed Mt. Sinai several times to receive the commandments, and how we should also go to great personal effort to receive the commandments in our minds and hearts.  This can help prepare them to see the importance of really knowing what  For the Strength of Youth teaches about each of the standards.

Youth love a beautiful duet, and Hilary Weeks has created one for the 2019 mutual theme that goes with “Nearer My God to Thee.”  Youth will love singing this beautiful message with each other (the young men can sing it too!).

Performing the duet are Amy Geis and Patch Crowe.

You could give the song to each youth so they can add it to their favorite play lists, use as a girl’s camp theme song, sing at a young women event such as New Beginnings, sing at a fireside, etc…

You will also receive a lyric card and a CD cover print in case you want to make copies to gift them to the youth.

Back by popular demand!  We have our Daily Journals-Personal Progress Edition again for 2019, spiral bound!

*Note:  this year we did not include the dates, but rather left a place for the dates to be written in.  This will allow a young woman to start at any point in the year, or even skip around in order to complete the Personal Progress experiences she still needs.

This journal is a daily journal with a question built into each day about the 2019 mutual theme.  This will help each young woman keep this theme on her mind daily.

Not only is it a daily journal, but each Sunday the young woman can work on a personal progress experience.  Each experience is customized and designed so each requirement is fulfilled and if it is an experience that is meant to last one to several weeks, it is built right into the daily journal so the young woman can report on her progress.  There are also areas for class notes on Sundays!

Help the youth really study each standard in For the Strength of Youth with this study guide. The youth will study one standard at a time and be given questions to answer, quotes to read, and other activities to help them really ponder and understand the specific guidelines in each standard.  These are great for Young Men or Young Women!
This is great for individual youth or for girls camps, youth conferences, etc.  It could also be a wonderful 10-hour Personal Progress project – especially for Choice and Accountability (please get pre-approval from young women leader)
